Friday night we got to spend the evening with some very dear friends of ours, the Elkins. David and Sonja have 5 children (Ian, age 3 above). When their 5th, Shiloh, age 20 mos. was born, there were some major difficulties and Sonja was mostly in bed for almost the first year of Shiloh's life. So, after she was born, many many people from our church began coming to their home to help with the kids. Brandon and I went every Thursday evening for a year to help with dinner, baths, and bedtime routines. We had some awesome times, and learned so very much from them. We became very attached to them and their children...they are simply precious! I even got to teach Elliana (age 7) at church when she was 3 and Shepherd (age 5) when he was 3! Thanks, guys, for the great evening!

Friends and Fun
